Obituary Wednesday November 28th
Brian Allen Judy, 50 years, of Schaumburg, Illinois and formerly of West Point, Iowa died at 4:26 pm Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove, Illinois. He was born December 23, 1961 at Fort Madison, Iowa, a son of James Lane and Janice Mary (Freesmeier) Judy.
Brian was a 1980 graduate of Marquette High School and a 1985 graduate of Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. He was a project manager for P.N.C. Partnership Solutions, Chicago, Illinois. He was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed football games, Nascar racing, and hanging out with family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Janice Judy, of West Point, Iowa; two sisters, Nancy (husband Dan) Kempker, of Donnellson, Iowa and Diane (husband Jerry) Polk, of Savannah, Georgia; one brother, Thomas (wife Molly) Judy, of Billings, Montana; seven nieces and nephews: Alicia, Stacy, and Rachel Kempker; Lane, Lex, Lute, and Lydia Judy; aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Della Freesmeier and Clem and Cele Judy; and one niece, Amy Kempker.
A Rosary will be recited at 2:30 pm Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Barr-Holtkamp Funeral Home, West Point. His family will greet friends between 3:00 – 6:00 pm Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Barr-Holtkamp Funeral Home, West Point, Iowa, where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Monday, December 3, 2012 at the St. Mary’s of Assumption Catholic Church, West Point, Iowa, with Reverend Dennis Hoffman, as celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, West Point, Iowa. A memorial has been established, contributions may be made at the church or the Barr- Holtkamp Funeral Home, 412 Ave C, P.O.
