(AP) EFFORTS CONTINUE TO FIND COMMON GROUND THAT COULD LEAD TO A DEAL AVOIDING A FISCAL CLIFF AND POSSIBLE RECESSION NEXT YEAR.
TREASURY SECRETARY TIM GEITHNER AND SENIOR WHITE HOUSE AIDE ROB NABORS WILL VISIT SEPARATELY TODAY WITH THE FOUR LEADERS OF THE HOUSE AND SENATE TO DISCUSS HOW TO AVERT THE SERIES OF TAX INCREASES AND SPENDING CUTS.
