Bodies Found In Northeast Iowa; Could Be Missing Evansdale Girls
HUNTERS DISCOVERED TWO BODIES IN NORTHEAST IOWA EARLY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON… AND IT IS BELIEVED THEY COULD BE THE BODIES OF TWO GIRLS WHO WENT MISSING IN EVANSDALE NEARLY FIVE MONTHS AGO…
Authorities have been treating the disappearance of Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook-Morrissey as an abduction case. Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Captain Rick Abben spoke at a news conference at 4:30. Although he would not say if the bodies are that of female children – his comments suggested the search for the girls may be over. Abben declined to say exactly where the bodies were found. They’ve been sent to the state medical examiner’s office for positive identification.
