3-Year-Old Rescued From Burning House
A three-year-old Galesburg boy was rescued from his burning house early this morning.
According to Galesburg Fire Chief Tom Simkins, when firefighters arrived at the home on the 800 block of Oak Street, there were flames shooting out the windows. The boy was successfully rescued but was later flown to a Chicago hospital because of burn injuries. No information on the condition of the boy has been released yet. Investigators are still working to find out what caused the fire.
