IN GIRLS GOLF, NEW LONDON EASILY WON THE CLASS 1A REGIONAL FIRST-ROUND MEET AT DEERWOOD GOLF CLUB.  THE TIGERS CARDED A 382, 72 STROKES AHEAD OF SECOND PLACE LONE TREE.   VAN BUREN AND WINFIELD-MT. UNION TIES FOR THIRD…IOWA MENNONITE WAS 5TH, THEN DANVILLE AND HOLY TRINITY.   NEW LONDON’S BAYLEE LINDELL WAS THE INDIVIDUAL MEDALIST, FOLLOWED BY TEAMMATES BRIANNA STEVENS AND VICTORIA NOEL.   NEW LONDON’S JORGI KRIEGER AND WINFIELD-MT. UNION’S GRACE EDWARDS ALSO ADVANCE AS INDIVIDUALS TO NEXT MONDAY’S REGIONAL FINALS AT CALAMUS.

 

IN THE 2A REGIONAL AT WILTON, WAPELLO’S MACKENZIE NOBLE SHOT AN 84 FOR SECOND PLACE.  SHE ADVANCES TO THE REGIONAL FINALS AT MARENGO.

 

IN THE 3A REGIONAL AT WAPELLO, CENTRAL LEE’S ALEX KREHBIEL…MEPO’S KENSLEY HEATER…AND ND-WB’S TAKANA SCHIMABUKURO ALL ADVANCED TO MONDAY’S REGIONAL FINAL AT COLUMBUS JUNCTION.
