Here, There, Everywhere a Road Closed
A number of area roads have been shut down due to flooding in our area.
In Des Moines County, Flint Bottom Road between Beaverdale and Kirkendall Roads is closed. Highway-99, in the area of Tama Road and Dodgeville Road, between Teal and 170th Ave are also closed.
In Henderson County, Highway-34 at Henderson Creek, east of Bigsville is closed. Highway-94 at Bald Bluff and County Road-1150 (Hopper Road) at the drainage ditch is also.
In Burlington, police closed a stretch of Mason Road near Edward Stone Middle School this morning.
In the Augusta area, the Welter Recreation Area along the Skink River is off-limits due to flooding.
In Warren County (Illinois), the major highways are clear or only have water on one lane in spots. Several secondary gravel roads that cross Cedar Creek and the south branch of Henderson Creek are closed. Also some gravel roads that cross South Henderson Creek, Big Negro Creek, and Negro Creek in southern Warren County are also closed.
