Festival of Film Starts Tomorrow
Back for it’s second year, the Snake Alley Festival of Film will be taking place tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday in Downtown Burlington.
86 movies will be shown in the newly renovated Capitol Theater. Lonnie Skyler, who promotes the festival, says interest has exploded since it’s first event last year…
“We saw a 50% increase over last year just on interest from filmmakers from around the world. So, a lot of great submissions, a lot more work, but a lot more (movie) choices”.
Genres include animation, comedy, drama, action, and plenty more. Tickets range from $7-$45 depending on how long you plan to stay. Tickets are available for purchase at the Capitol Theater and at redtrucktickets.com. The theater can comfortably sit around 400 people.
