Toddlers falling from windows in Anchorage

Anchorage police say two toddlers fell from second-story windows Tuesday.

Police say a 2-year-old fell out of a second-story window just after 9:30 p.m. at an Eagle River home on Regency Drive.

Officers who investigated found a window screen in the driveway. The child suffered face injuries.

About 10 minutes later, police took a call of another 2-year-old falling from a second-story window on Eagle Place Loop in Eagle River. The girl landed on concrete and suffered a head injury. She also was taken to a hospital.

An infant June 5 fell from a third-story window of a northeast Anchorage apartment. The child was evaluated at a hospital.

Police are warning parents to make sure window screens are secure.
