IL. Counties are OK with Concealed Carry
More Illinois counties are seeing people not being prosecuted for carrying concealed weapons in public.
Officials in White, Madison, Randolph, Tazewell, Clinton, and Peoria counties have all said they will not prosecute law-abiding citizens for carrying guns because of the federal court decision saying that it is unconstitutional. The court decision required Illinois to create a law allowing concealed weapons. Lawmakers have sent Governor Pat Quinn a measure but he hasn’t signed it.
