WB Fireworks Display Safer…and Much Longer
The sky was lit up in Downtown West Burlington last night, for the City’s 10th annual Fourth of July Extravagana.
The event took place on Broadway. When Our Savanna Evans asked what kids were most excited about… the answer was obvious — the fireworks! The fireworks display, put on by J & M Display of Yarmouth, was the hit of the party, and this year, there were no accidents.. Coordinator Rod Crowner was happy with the results.
“He increased it some, we had a great fireworks show. And it went off as it was suppose tot his year”.
Last year, emergency responders say four people were injured; two received minor burns and two others were injured when falling down while running for cover. This year, everything went according to plan.
