Man Believed to be an Angel in Northern Missouri
People in the Quincy area are beginning to believe in angels after a serious car accident last weekend that was close to taking the life of 19-year-old Katie Lentz of Quincy, IL.
While the teen was pinned in her car after the crash in northern Missouri Sunday, she asked for the rescue crew to calmly pray with her. Out of no where a man dressed in priest attire showed up and then prayed for her and the crew. After the prayer, another rescue crew showed up with the tools they needed to free the teen, they turned around to thank the man and he was gone. No one got his name and he wasn’t in any of the nearly 70 photos of the crime scene. People are calling the man an angel.
Pastor Rick Biedermann of Bethany Lutheran Church in Burlington, says he’s had people tell him they’ve seen angels…
“I’ve been at the death bed of people and I’ve had a few tell me that they have seen angels at their death bed. I was visiting one person who was dying and she said, “who is that standing behind you?” I turned around and there was no one behind me. She said it was a comforting person. I guess it was angel but I didn’t see it.”
Witnesses described how the mystery man looked so they could develop a sketch that would help find him, in order to thank him.
Lentz is still in the Blessing Hospital in Quincy with serious injuries but is doing much better. She suffered two broken femurs, a broken tibia and fibia, broken left wrist, nine broken ribs, a lacerated liver, ruptured spleen, and a bruised lung.
