Keokuk Man Could get 135 Year Prison Sentence
He can’t serve that long, but a 35-year-old Keokuk man could be sentenced to more than 135 years in prison if he’s convicted of the drug charges against him.
The Iowa State Patrol picked up Mike Russel on Sunday and he’s since been accused of conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of meth within 1,000 feet of a public park- second or subsequent offense. He’s also been accused of possession with intent to deliver meth within 1,000 feet of a park- second or subsequent offense. Russel is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
