Burlington Crack Cocaine Dealer Arrested
A Burlington man was arrested this morning for selling crack cocaine out of his apartment at 523 Division Street, Apartment 1.
58-year-old Benny Lenior has been charged with four counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. The Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force had been conducting an investigation into reports of frequent narcotics sales taking place at the apartment.
While at Lenior’s residence, authorities found a substantial amount of crack cocaine, money, and a digital scale with packaging material all hidden in a wall panel. Lenior was then also charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Crack Cocaine and Drug Tax Stamp Violation.
He is being held in the Des Moines County Jail on $305,000 bond.
