Meth Makers Busted in West Burlington
The Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force arrested two Southeast Iowa residents, one being a teenager, after they received anonymous information from multiple sources regarding meth production and sales taking place at 105 E. Pennington Street in West Burlington.
Officers arrested 34-year-old Adam Sirtak of West Burlington and 19-year-old Brandy Smyth of Burlington this morning. Investigators found items that were consistent with manufacturing meth both inside and outside the home.
Sirtak is charged with Manufacturing Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Meth Precursors, and Maintaining a Drug House. He remains in the county jail on a bond of $30,000.
Smyth is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and remains in the county jail on a bond of $325 pending a court appearance.
Additional arrests are anticipated.
