A man was shot in an alley yesterday afternoon in Fort Madison between the 1400 blocks of Avenue F and G.
The man had a single gunshot wound to his leg. He has not been identified yet and no suspects have been found. The victim is believed to be between 20 and 30 years old. He was taken to Fort Madison Community Hospital and then flown to Iowa City. If you have any information on the shooting, please call the Fort Madison Police.
