IN CROSS COUNTRY, THE BURLINGTON BOYS CAME IN SECOND BEHIND PLEASANT VALLEY AT THE CONFERENCE MEET IN BETTENDORF.   INDIVIDUALLY, BHS’S STEVEN KRUSE PLACED THIRD.   FOR THE GIRLS, KELLY MICKAEL FINISHED 52ND AND BROKE 19 MINUTES FOR THE FIRST TIME.  SHE WAS THE ONLY BHS GIRL IN THE VARSITY RACE.

 

THE FT. MADISON BOYS WON THE SOUTHEAST CONFERENCE MEET, FOLLOWED BY MT. PLEASANT…AND MT. PLEASANT TOOK THE GIRLS TEAM COMPETITION, FOLLOWED BY FT. MADISON.   KEOKUK WAS 5TH IN BOTH RACES.   INDIVIDUALLY, FT. MADISON KAYLEE ALVAREZ WON THE GIRLS MEET AND FOR THE BOYS IT WAS MT. PLEASANT’S LOGAN MURRAY, FOLLOWED BY THREE FT. MADISON RUNNERS (NICK GUZMAN, JEREMY MALDONADO AND DEREK TALLMAN.)

 

AT THE MEDIAPOLIS INVITATIONAL, HIGHLAND TOOK THE BOYS CROWN AND THE HOST BULLETTES THE GIRLS RACE.   FOR THE BOYS, WAPELLO WAS SECOND, FOLLOWED BY MEPO, WB-ND AND COLUMBUS.  FOR THE GIRLS, WAPELLO CAME IN SECOND, THEN LONE TREE AND COLUMBUS.

 

THE VAN BUREN BOYS WON THE PEKIN INVITATIONAL AND THE HOST TEAM TOOK FIRST IN THE GIRLS RACE.

 

IN VOLLEYBALL, THE TOP-RATED(1A) HOLY TRINITY CRUSADERS WENT 4 AND OH, SWEEPING THE COMPETITION AT THE MEDIAPOLIS INVITATIONAL ROUND-ROBIN TOURNEY.   MEPO WENT 2 AND 2, NOTRE DAME 1 AND 3.
