Inmate Dies in Hancock County Jail

Authorities have released information about an inmate in the Hancock County Jail who died last weekend.

63-year-old William Clark of Sutter, Illinois had difficulty breathing and CPR was immediately performed. He was transported to the hospital where he was then pronounced dead. Clark was serving a jail sentence for Domestic Battery. The Hancock County Coroner did not reveal any type of foul play or trauma. An autopsy concluded he died from natural causes.
