Burlington Bullying Report Form Simplified

Goals for the Burlington Superintendent Jane Evans were agreed upon tonight at the school board meeting.

Evans’s top priority this coming school year will be to work with staff and students to improve reading comprehension and math achievement. The second priority on the list is to improve the bullying situation, part of that being a simplified report form. The student bullying report form has shrunk from four pages to one and can be filled out and submitted online according to Director of Human Resources Chuck Griffin…

“The form will go to three people. It will go to the principle, the counselor, and Dr. Noll- who will be responsible  for the oversight of the whole program. We feel we have a fail proof system that any report will be handled immediately and appropriately.”

They hope to have the bullying report form online and ready to use within the next week.
