Burlington Council Session Pushed Back to Tues.

THE BURLINGTON CITY COUNCIL WON’T MEET TODAY(MON) BECAUSE IT’S VETERANS DAY AND CITY HALL IS CLOSED.

INSTEAD, THE COUNCIL WILL CONDUCT ITS EVERY-OTHER-WEEK WORK SESSION TOMORROW(TUE) AT 4:30 ON THE THIRD FLOOR OF CITY HALL…AND AMONG THE ITEMS TO BE DISCUSSED ARE THE MT. PLEASANT STREET BRIDGE AND PROPOSED AGREEMENTS WITH VENU-WORKS AND BURLINGTON STEAMBOAT DAYS FOR OPERATION OF THE AUDITORIUM AND PORT, RESPECTIVELY.

 

THE BURLINGTON SCHOOL BOARD MEETS TONITE(MON) AT 6 TO REVIEW A LIST OF GOALS FOR SUPERINTENDENT JANE EVANS AND LISTEN TO A PRELIMINARY REPORT ON THE BUDGET. THE REGULAR MEETING AT 7 WILL INCLUDE A VOTE ON EVANS’ GOALS AND THERE’LL BE TIME SET ASIDE FOR THE PUBLIC TO COMMENT.

 

THE SOUTHEASTERN COMMUNITY COLLEGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETS THIS(MON) EVENING AT 5 ON THE MAIN CAMPUS IN WEST BURLINGTON.
