I-DOT Official to Hit Town, Talk Revenue

THE DIRECTOR OF THE IOWA TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT’S PLANNING DIVISION WILL PAY A VISIT TO BURLINGTON THIS WEEK, TO GET SOME PUBLIC INPUT ON A PROPOSED LIST OF WAYS TO GENERATE MORE REVENUE FOR ROAD & BRIDGE MAINTENANCE.

IT’S BEEN SAID I-DOT NEEDS ANOTHER 200-MILLION DOLLARS-A-YEAR JUST TO KEEP UP WITH CURRENT NEEDS, BUT GREATER BURLINGTON PARTNERSHIP BOSS JASON HUTCHESON SAYS GOVERNOR BRANSTAD HAS NOT BEEN A GOOD LEADER IN THIS AREA…..

THE FUNDING INPUT MEETING WILL BE THURSDAY MORNING AT 10 IN THE WINEGARD BOARD ROOM AT RIVER PARK PLACE, 610 NORTH 4TH STREET, SUITE 200 IN BURLINGTON. YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE CHAMBER TO PARTICIPATE.
