Multicultural Thanksgiving Dinner Coming Up at SCC

It won’t be your traditional Thanksgiving dinner, it might actually be better.

The Southeastern Community College Multicultural Club is hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner Monday at the college. Because there are so many foriegn exchange students at the school, Club President Rachel Kazungu who is from Tanzania, says you can expect a tasty dish from each culture…

“It will be a good mixture. We have students from so many places, and the dinner will give you a chance to taste the food from different countries. We have asked each student to prepare a dish from their ancestors, something they would most likely eat in their culture.”

The event is free and open to the public. The club just asks that you bring a dish to share with everyone. The dinner is  from 6-8pm at SCC.
