An organization that helps wounded service members will be receiving all proceeds from a book sale this Sunday in Burlington.
Organizer of the event Penny Gaylord, says there will be a wide vairety of books to choose from. All the money raised will go directly to the Wounded Warrior Project, which Gaylord mentions is an organization that focuses on three things…
“First to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, second, to help injured service members aid and assist each other, and finally to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.”
The book drive for the Wounded Warrior Project is this Sunday at the VFW Post on Washington Street in Burlington. The sale is from 11-3pm.
