Celebrate the Holidays by Helping the Less Fortunate

‘TIS THE SEASON TO BE GENEROUS…AND YOU CAN DO SO TOMORROW(SAT) IN BURLINGTON, WEST BURLINGTON AND MT. PLEASANT.

THE PRIMARY PLACE TO DROP OFF NON-PERISHABLE FOOD AND OTHER ITEMS IS THE HY-VEE STORE ON AGENCY IN BURLINGTON, TOMORROW(SAT) FROM 9 TO 3…AND ORGANIZER JIM WADE SAYS THERE’S NO “BEST THING” TO DONATE, AS LONG AS ITS NON-PERISHABLE.   PERSONAL ITEMS, LIKE DEODORANT, SOAP, TOILET PAPER AND DIAPERS ARE OFTEN IN SHORT SUPPLY AND, OF COURSE, CASH IS ALWAYS WELCOME.

ALL DONATIONS FROM THE BURLINGTON FOOD DRIVE GO TO THE ST. VINCENT DEPAUL PANTRY AND WADE SAYS THE NEED IS GROWING BY THE DAY.

THERE’LL BE ANOTHER FOOD DRIVE TOMORROW(SAT) FROM 9 TO 3 AT THE HY-VEE IN MT. PLEASANT…AND IF YOU’D LIKE TO DONATE SOME TOYS TO NEEDY AREA KIDS, LOOK FOR THE BIG TRUCK TRAILER AT WESTLAND MALL IN WEST BURLINGTON.
