Burlington Council to Consider VenuWorks Contract…at Last

THE BURLINGTON CITY COUNCIL WILL VOTE THIS(MON) AFTERNOON ON A 123-PAGE CONTRACT WITH VENU-WORKS, TO MANAGE AND MARKET MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM.

VENU-WORKS SPOKESMAN JOE BRIGLIA SAYS THE AGREEMENT WILL MEAN MORE ACCOUNTABILITY, MORE SHOWS AND, PRESUMABLY, MORE REVENUE.

TODAY’S(MON) SPECIAL MEETING BEGINS AT 4:30 AND WILL DEAL WITH THAT MATTER ONLY. AFTERWARDS, THE COUNCIL WILL TRANSITION INTO ITS EVERY OTHER MONDAY WORK SESSION, DURING WHICH NEXT YEAR’S BUDGET WILL BE DISCUSSED, ALONG WITH A NUMBER OF OTHER TOPICS.

THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO ATTEND.
