The windows of Downtown Burlington Storefronts will be lit up tonight for the Annual Living Windows Celebration.
Steve Frevert with Downtown Partners refers to it as “a parade in reverse”…
Instead of people standing and watching things go by, they walk and see things in the windows or on the sidewalks. There will be singers, re-enactors, and just a wide variety of things.”
Frevert also feels, that of the 15 years this event has been held, tonight will be bigger and better than ever…
“We have more windows that are going to be lit and decorated. We’re having an ice carver come down and free horse drawn wagon rides as well”.
The Annual Lighted Windows Celebration is from 6-8pm along Jefferson Street.
