Footprints Help Find Burl. Burglars

The snow may have caused a lot of problems for people in the area, but it also helped solve a burglary yesterday in Burlington.

The resident at 538 Summer Street called authorities after she heard a loud crash and discovered her flat screen television missing. After searching the home, authorities tracked fresh footprints that lead them to 558-2 South Central, where they arrested 19-year-old Andrew Brosman of Burlington and 25-year-old Jordan Breeding of Mediapolis.

After conducting interviews with the two men, detectives were able to locate the stolen TV, as well as other stolen electronic equipment.

Both are in jail. Brosman is charged with second degree burglary and is being held on $5,000 bond. Breeding is charged with second and third degree burglary. His bond is $7,000 pending a court appearance.
