Herbicide Resistance Among Issues to be Discussed at Friday Crop Advantage Meeting

Herbicide resistance is a serious issue for farmers. CEO and President of Merschman Seeds, Joe Merschman, says the reason those plants aren’t being killed can be blamed on the lack of diversity in chemical control. They’ve become resistant.

More than 300 farmers will be gathering at the Comfort Suites in Burlington for the meeting. Other topics include the 2014 weather outlook, the grain market outlook, soil erosion, seed treatments, and much more.

Registraion starts at 8:15 tomorrow morning.
