It’s “goodbye” Burlington Police Building, and “Hello” US Bank.
That followed a unanimous vote by the Des Moines County Board this morning to sign a lease for a new home for the county attorney’s office.
Supervisor Tom Broeker…
“This board’s primary concern is the safety of the county attorney staff. The US Bank offices are available almost immediately. They require very little modification to be suitable for our services. It’s also somewhat close to the courthouse.”
The lease is for a year, with an option for another 12 months. Broeker says he’ll continue the search for a
space that’s closer to the courthouse and well built, like the bank.
