AROUND 3:30 SUNDAY MORNING, OQUAWKA, KEITHSBURG, BIGGSVILLE,GLADSTONE,JOY…AND THE MEDIA-STRONGHURST-TERRE HAUTE DEPARTMENTS BEGAN BATTLING A HOUSE FIRE AT KEITHSBURG & BALD BLUFF ROADS IN HENDERSON COUNTY…..

AND FROM ABOUT 9:15 SATURDAY NITE TIL ALMOST ONE O’CLOCK THIS(SUN) MORNING, WAPELLO…COLUMBUS JUNCTION…GRANDVIEW…AND FRUITLAND FIREFIGHTERS KNOCKED DOWN ANOTHER HOUSE FIRE, THIS ONE AT 176-95 COUNTY ROAD G-44X IN LOUISA COUNTY.

ON SATURDAY MORNING, EIGHT PETS (5 DOGS & 3 CATS) DIED IN A HOUSE FIRE AT 15-34 AVENUE F IN FORT MADISON. THE RENTERS WERE NOT HOME AT THE TIME THE CALL CAME IN…SHORTLY AFTER 7:15…AND THE BLAZE WAS CONTAINED TO THE KITCHEN AREA, ALTHO THERE WAS HEAVY SMOKE DAMAGE THROUGHOUT.
