Marceline L. Marsh, age 88, of Wapello, died Friday evening, January 31, 2014, at the Wapello Nursing & Rehab Center.  The daughter of Charles and Cassa Clark Marsh, she was born on March 30, 1925 in Aldon, Minnesota. 

Marceline graduated from Aldon High School in Minnesota and from the University of Minnesota as a Register Nurse.  She retired as an ICU nurse from Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha.  Marceline enjoyed gardening and flowers, board games and cards, pets, especially her cats, and the outdoors, including fishing. 

She is survived by nieces and nephews including two nephews, Randy & Cindy Skipton of Bettendorf and Milo Skipton of Wapello.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Allen Marsh; and a sister, Donna Skipton.

The funeral ceremony for Marceline Marsh will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 7, 2014, at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello with Rev. Pam Kranzler officiating.  There will be no other visitation other than the gathering for the funeral.  The burial will be at the Springfield City Cemetery in Springfield, Minnesota with her parents.

A memorial fund has been established for the benefit of the Wapello Nursing & Rehab Center and the Great River Hospice.
