Second Killer of Young Couple with Keokuk Ties Gets Life Times Two

AN OKLAHOMA JURY LAST(THUR) NITE SENTENCED A TULSA MAN TO TWO LIFE TERMS IN PRISON WITHOUT PAROLE.

 

21-YEAR OLD DARREN PRICE HAD BEEN CONVICTED EARLIER THIS WEEK OF KILLING A FORMER KEOKUK COUPLE…OUT JOGGING IN A TULSA PARK…AFTER ROBBING THEM.   18-YEAR OLD CARISSA HORTON WAS A STUDENT AT ORAL ROBERTS UNIVERSITY AND 21-YEAR OLD ETHAN NICHOLS WORKED AT A CREAMERY IN NEARBY BROKEN ARROW, OKLAHOMA.  A MAN WALKING HIS DOG FOUND THE COUPLE’S BODIES THE FOLLOWING DAY;  BOTH HAD BEEN SHOT IN THE HEAD.

 

PRICE’S PARTNER-IN-CRIME…23-YEAR OLD JERARD DAVIS…PLED GUILTY IN OCTOBER TO TWO COUNTS OF MURDER.  HE TOO AVOIDED THE DEATH PENALTY.
