THE OTTUMWA OPTHAMOLOGIST AND FORMER DIRECTOR OF THE STATE’S DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH HAS DECIDED TO SEEK THE REPUBLICAN NOMINATION FOR CONGRESS FROM IOWA’S SECOND DISTRICT…AND, IF SHE WINS, TO FACE INCUMBENT DEMOCRAT DAVE LOEBSACK…JUST AS SHE DID IN 2008 AND AGAIN IN 2010.

MILLER-MEEKS WILL MEET WITH SUPPORTERS TOMORROW(WEDS) MORNING FROM 7:30 TO 8:30 AT THE IVY BAKE SHOPPE IN WEST BURLINGTON…THAT’S AT SHOTTENKIRK’S…AND THEN AT 9:15 IN THE MT. PLEASANT HY-VEE.

 

SHE’S THE SECOND REPUBLICAN TO ANNOUNCE FOR THE SEAT; THE OTHER IS STATE REPRESENTATIVE MARK LOFGREN OF MUSCATINE.
