It may be cold here, but tomorrow at the Art Center Gallery in Downtown Burlington, you can at least pretend to be somewhere warm, like New Orleans.
President of the Art Guild Board of Directors, Tammy McCoy, says it will even taste like the Mardi Gras city…
“We’re going to give you a taste of New Orleans food and drinks. There will be kings cake for dessert, and we’ll have live jazz and blues music.”
The funds raised will go to the art center…
“We are currently trying to hire a new director so we’re going to be doing some interviews possibly next week, and there’s a few other things that we need to build our funds back up for.”
Three photographers who feature New Orleans will have their art on display, and for sale.
Tickets are $20 and are available at the Art Center, Gypsi, and the Medium. An Evening in New Orleans is from 5-8pm this Friday at the Art Center Gallery located at 301 Jefferson Street.
