West Point Man, Keokuk Pair Busted

LEE COUNTY’S NARCOTICS TASK FORCE HAS ANNOUNCED THE ARRESTS OF A WEST POINT MAN AND A KEOKUK COUPLE ON FELONY DRUG CHARGES.

 

38-YEAR OLD GREG BEACH (OF 119 5TH STREET) WAS APPREHENDED AT HIS HOME AND ACCUSED OF POSSESSING PRECURSORS WITH THE INTENT TO MAKE METHAMPHETAMINE. IF CONVICTED, BEACH WILL FACE UP TO FIVE YEARS IN STATE PRISON. AND TINA & KEITH GALBREATH OF (620 NORTH 7TH STREET) KEOKUK COULD GO AWAY FOR UP TO 10 YEARS IF THEY’RE CONVICTED OF DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE.

IN HANCOCK COUNTY(IL), 33-YEAR OLD JASON NEWBERRY OF DENVER(IL) WAS ARRESTED ON COUNTS OF POSSESSION OF METH MATERIAL & METH PRECURSORS AND PARTICIPATION OF METH MANUFACTURING. HE WAS TAKEN TO THE COUNTY JAIL IN CARTHAGE.
