Burlington Man Busted For Crack Sale, Possession

A Burlington man has been accused of selling drugs at 558 1/2 South Central Avenue as police waited for him outside.

27-year-old Monroe Walton of 539 South 8th Street will face three felony charges– Delivery of Crack Cocaine, Possession with the Intent to Deliver, and Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule-3 Pharmaceuticals.

Authorities took Walton to the Des Moines County Jail to await a court hearing. A judge set his bond at $150,000. Police say more arrests are anticipated.

AFTER HE GETS OUT, BOILEAU WILL SPEND THREE YEARS ON SUPERVISED RELEASE. HE WAS ARRESTED IN 2012 FOR MAKING METH IN HIS VEHICLE IN WASHINGTON(IA) AND FOR HAVING METH-MAKING MATERIALS IN HIS APARTMENT IN WAYLAND.
