Vehicle burglaries continue to be an issue in Mediapolis.
Sheriff Mike Johnstone told us this evening that Crime Stoppers is now involved and that they are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for any information that leads to an arrest.
In the past couple weeks there have been around 25 vehicle burglaries in the Mediapolis area. These break-in’s are occurring over night. The Sheriff is asking people to remove personal items from their vehicles and remember to keep them locked.
Johnstone also says they are investigating a couple leads but is still asking for public input.
