Authorities in Keokuk pulled a body from the Mississippi River yesterday afternoon near the Lock and Dam 19.
They have said that it was a man, but have not identified him yet. An autopsy is currently being conducted.
Workers at the Keokuk electric power plant were the ones who spotted the body.
