Eight Hancock County Meth Arrests

Eight people were arrested in Hancock County yesterday on meth related charges.

The first two arrested were 31-year-old Willie Boyer of Niota and 27-year-old Jared Schiedel of Donnellson. Both were charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Meth. They are expected to make their first court appearance Monday.

Deputies also arrested 37-year-old Rodney Monroe of Niota at 507 Arbor Street Niota. Monroe was charged with Possession of Meth manufacturing Material.

The last five people were arrested in LaHarpe at 103 West Drake. Those individuals are 37-year-old Melissa Squire of LaHarpe, 28-year-old Shane Taft of LaHarpe, 23-year-old William Carey of Mt. Sterling, 42-year-old Brian Slowick of Nauvoo, and 40-year-old Tim Fye of LaHarpe. carey tried to avoid being arrested by breaking out a bedroom window and running for police. He was eventually captured. All five were charged with Participation of Meth manufacturing.
