The West Burlington School District is on the hunt for a new head football coach.
At Monday night’s board meeting, Jeff Housel’s resignation as head football coach was accepted.
Superintendent Dave Schmitt says they’ve already started looking for someone to replace him and hope to make their decision soon…..
The position is being advertised on the Teach Iowa website, and they have currently received 7 applications.
Housel has been with West Burlington for 8 years now, and will continue to teach math courses and serve as the district’s athletic director.
