It may not be Easter yet, but it will feel like it this Saturday in southeast Iowa.
Several communities will be having their annual Easter Egg Hunts.
In Burlington, there’s the Beaster Bunny 5K that starts at 8am with an egg hunt at the Rec Plex. For more info go to teambeast.org.
Also in Burlington, at the HyVee on Agency, there will be around 5,000 eggs to pursue starting at noon. The Easter Bunny will be there from 10am-1pm.
In Fort Madison, there will be an Egg Hunt at the Old Lion’s Shelter House in Rodeo Park.
In Morning Sun, their Easter Antler Hunt is 9 to 11am at Virginia Grove Recreation Area. The fee is $3.
In Mt. Pleasant, their Easter Eggstravaganza egg hunt is 2 p.m. on the Iowa Wesleyan College lawn.
In Bonaparte, their Easter Picture and Vendor Event is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bonaparte Opera House.
In Farmington, an Easter Egg Hunt will be at 10 a.m. at Harmony Elementary School.
