Yesterday’s Burlington Bees/Dayton Dragons baseball game was called off because of the heavy rain.
It won’t be made up, because the Dragons are not scheduled to return to Community Field this year. Bees officials say tickets from yesterday will be honored at any upcoming home game.
The Bees travel to Fort Wayne today to face the TinCaps. You can hear all the action on KBUR, starting with Michael Broskoski’s pregame show at 5:45. Burlington will be back in town on the 21st.
At 34 Raceway over the weekend, Terry McCarl won the MOWA 410 Sprints Feature(Paul Nienhiser was second)…Scott Hogan took the IMCA Modifieds Feature(with Chris Zogg coming in next)…and Adam Gates crossed the finish line first in the 4-Cylinder Feature(with Aaron Hill in second place).
