Obituaries Wednesday April 16th

Velva June Stout, 90, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 5:17 a.m. at the Fort Madison Community Hospital.  She was born on June 4, 1923 in Donnellson, IA to Denver & Murial Junkins Kincaid.  She married Charles E. Stout on January 9, 1943 in Kahoka, MO.  He preceded her in death on September 28, 2008.  Velva was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She liked growing and caring for her many African Violets and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a past member of the Santa Fe United Methodist Church.
Velva is survived by: 1-son: Charles “Eddie” (Ginger) Stout of Olathe, KS; 1-daughter: Karen (Dave) Maddox of Fort Madison, IA; 4-grandchildren; 8-great grandchildren; 2-sisters: Ethel Nolte of Fort Madison, IA & Susie (AJ) West of El Segundo, CA; 2-brothers: Leroy
(Rozella) Kincaid of Fort Madison, IA & Eddie (Clarann) Kincaid of Earp, CA and a special niece, Julia Saunders of Fort Madison, IA.  She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, a grandson, Doug Maddox, 3-sisters & 1-brother.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with the funeral service to immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. all on Friday, April 18, 2014 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev.
