Bees Lose to Captains

The Burlington Bees lost 6-3 to the Lake County Captains in Eastlake, Ohio last night.

The two teams will continue their 3-game series tonight(Fri) and you can hear all the action on KBUR, starting with Michael Broskoski’s pregame show at 5:10.   The Bees will wrap up their Ohio road trip after Saturday’s game…Sunday’s an off day…and Burlington returns home for a Monday night battle with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Community Field.

Recently-departed West Burlington head football coach Jeff Housel has landed on his feet (cleats?) across the river – he’s been named the new head coach at West Central High School near Biggsville.   Housel takes over a “Heat” program that was 15-22 under former coach Roger Kerfoot.
