Bees Home to Face Wisconsinites

Easter Sunday was a day of rest for Burlington’s minor-league baseball team, but the Bees will get back to work tonight(Mon) at 6:30 at Community Field, where they’ll take on the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

You can catch the game on KBUR, starting with Michael Broskoski’s pre-game show at 6:10.   The Bees homestand consists of a four-game series with Wisconsin, followed by three more with the Beloit Snappers, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

17-year old Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Illinois beat Jason Feger and Brandon Sheppard over the weekend at 34 Raceway, to win the 6th annual Slocum-50 for Late Models and more than $10,000.   Jason Cook took the trophy in the IMCA Stock Cars feature and John Schulz crossed the line first in the 305 Sprints.
