DON’T BE ALARMED: Simulation Test in WB Tomorrow

If you’re driving past Southeastern Community College or the Great River Medical Center Friday, don’t panic.

Gina Hardin with Des Moines County Emergency Management says they will be conducting simulation tests with local emergency responders…

They will also set up a decontamination unit and be moving equipment. This exercise will also include the college…

Hardin says the purpose is to be ready for any kind of disaster that might occur..

The public is invited to an open house of the Iowa Department of Public Health tent from 2pm-4pm. Anyone who is visiting the college or hospital Friday is asked to be aware of what’s going on, and remember, it’s just a test.
