Run to Help the Homeless Tomorrow

The Burlington Homeless Shelter reopened in July but is now funded entirely by the community.

To help with food supply and operating expenses, the shelter is having a 5K Run and 2K walk tomorrow morning. Doug Griffin with the shelter says runners and walkers will get a pretty good workout…

It’s $20 for children 12 and under, and $25 for everyone else. You can pick up your packets at the shelter which is located at 123 N. Marshall Street in Burlington tonight from 5-8 and tomorrow morning from 6-7:30. The run begins at 8am.
