Hesco Barriers were put up yesterday around the Market Street Lift Station in Burlington.
According to the Public Works Office, when Mississippi Rivers levels are projected to reach 17 feet, the Northeast corner around the lift station is subject to flood waters. Predicted crest levels were at 17 feet yesterday. If the predicted crest is higher than 17.5 feet, barriers will be placed around the Memorial Auditorium.
