A large company in Mt. Pleasant shut it’s doors today.
Pioneer DuPont informed their employees this morning about the closure. They are ceasing production today, which will affect 50 people.
Jane Slusark, who is a spokesperson for the company, gave us this quote today… “Over the past several years, we have added capacity through growing capabilities, capital, and process improvement. We are closing Mt. Pleasant to better utilize our most modern plants and optimize growing areas.”
