The Burlington Bees won their third straight last night, 7-2 over the Cedar Rapids Kernels.

The SCC baseball team is one win away from a trip to the NJC-double-A World Series in Enid, Oklahoma. About 2 o’clock this afternoon, the Blackhawks will play the winner of this morning’s Southeast Nebraska Community College versus Dakota County Tech game. All the action is taking place at the Wagner Athletic Complex.
The overall winners in Saturday’s 6-mile Great River Bridge Race were Aron Kehoe for the men in 32:04 and Amanda Kantzavelos for the women in 40:11.
