The Burlington Bees lost to the Quad Cities River Bandits yesterday, 7-1, at Modern Woodmen Park.
The Bees…now 20-23 for the year…and the Bandits…now 21-23…will wrap up their 3-game series tonight on the Davenport riverfront and you can hear all the action on KBUR, beginning with Michael Broskoski’s pre-game show at 6:40.
In college baseball, Southeastern Community College will hold a public sendoff for its NJCAA, Division-2-bound baseball team tomorrow(Thur) morning at 8:30, in the 400 Building hallway, on Circle Drive, on the West Burlington campus. The players, staff and Head Coach Justin Schulte will all be introduced. ***(Game-one for the Blackhawks is this Saturday at noon in Enid, Oklahoma, against Northern Oklahoma-Enid.)
